I’d love an alternative to Mint that allows automatic account syncing

I never heard anything about ‘Crashing’ on HBO before just stumbling on it in the HBO app.

It’s a pretty funny show about a standup comedian trying to make it in NY while dealing with a divorce. It kind of feels like Louie if the protagonist had a positive outlook on life.

It’s not the greatest show ever, but it blows my mind that I’d never heard of it at all

It just feels so Reddit

I think you’re supposed to see that and see that it’s cringe though. I still couldn’t get into it though. I watched the first season and half of the second and it didn’t do it for me

Having an emergency fund and avoiding excessive debt followed closely, each with 50% or more of respondents naming them as valuable lessons.

I’m a good ways away from retirement (unfortunately), but I’ve always run my retirement scenarios with no SS included in my math.

I think it’ll still be there in some capacity in 20-30 years, but I have no idea what it’ll look like, so it’s easier to plan without it and be better off if it is impactful in the future.

Large trucks in this instance are things like 18-wheelers, not trucks like the Ford F-150 or Dodge Ram.

“Fuck you money” to me is where I don’t need to work at all. Unless I am truly financially independent, I haven’t reached “fuck you money” status

The commitment to tweet-like self posts is what made me leave. I don’t like posting an image or article without being able to provide a title.

Tom Scott - short documentaries about places and things that are are out of the ordinary

Climate Town - comedic video essays on how certain parts of our lives impact the climate

CGP Grey - in-depth animated video essays on nerdy topics like flag designs or airport runway numbering

Dashner Design and Reatoration - realistic furniture restoration where the guy is honest about flaws and failed techniques. Not too much talking, but enough to let you know why he’s doing certain things
