I read Saarland at first - the smallest German state (excluding city states) - and didn't question it.

Might as well do it, they've got land in their name.

They won't because this doesn't refer to security updates, which GrapheneOS bases their support on.

So it's great for people who do not have GrapheneOS, but for us that do nothing changes.

Why the fuck would anyone care about wasteful space colonization and the next million years when we aren't even close to solving our current problems?

Renewables are significantly cheaper than nuclear and will remain so for the foreseeable future. The "cheap nuclear energy" Germany got a few decades ago isn't as cheap if you include the costs of managing the nuclear waste. By the way, Germany intends to find - not build - a long term nuclear waste storage construction site by 2070. Right now the "temporary" solution of dumping everything into caves is used.

Once we start colonizing space - and only then - does it make sense to start discussing the viability of nuclear energy. That will be centuries off.

And so claimed my German ancestors.

Yet none of them fled the country, none of them joined the small, albeit existing resistance, none of those conscripted deserted the military and none of them claimed to have responsibility. Curious, isn't it? Everybody seemed to have clean hands because only a few thousand people directly orchestrated the Holocaust. The fact that it could only happen due to both mass support and mass toleration is ignored.

none of the countries have killed as many children as Israel

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Chechen_War

100,000–130,000 civilians killed (Bonner)[21] 80,000–100,000 civilians killed (Human rights groups estimate)[22][23] 30,000–40,000+ civilians killed (RFSSS data)[24] At least 161 civilians killed outside Chechnya[c] 500,000+ civilians displaced[citation needed]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Chechen_War

Estimate total number of casualties: 30,000 civilians dead (25,000 killed and 5,000 missing) according to AI[24] ~80,000 killed in Chechnya (GfbV estimate)[25] More in neighbouring regions 40,000–50,000 civilians killed (Kramer)[26] More than 600 killed during attacks in Russia proper.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Russo-Ukrainian_War:

11,000+ civilians killed (confirmed)

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Syrian_civil_war

Number of killed civilians by Russian forces: 6861 - 8729+

Add a couple hundred of killed Georgian civilians and you have a range for Russian civilian kills in the last 30 years of:

80,000 - 230,000

If we count genocides perpetrated by Turkish nationalists in the Ottoman Empire and continued by newly founded Turkey we have:

  • 600,000 - 1.5 million Armenian civilians killed
  • 300,000 - 900,000 Greek civilians killed

As to genocides perpetrated solely by the state of Turkey:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dersim_massacre

Turkish Kurdish anthropologist Dilşa Deniz estimates the number of deaths to be between 46.000 to 63.000.[65][66][67][68][69][70][71][72] Historian Hans-Lukas Kieser writes that 40,000 is implausibly high.[73] Historian Annika Törne estimates 32,000 to 70,000 dead as a result of massacres

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zilan_massacre

Deaths: 5,000 - 15,000

Several hundred more Kurdish civilians have been killed in the past few decades by Turkey.

But you're right that in the past few decades Turkey hasn't killed as many Kurdish civilians as Israel has Palestinian civilians. Turkey is "just" commiting cultural genocide right now.

Wir sollten sofort die Autojagd legalisieren. Es kann nicht sein, dass so viele Menschen von blutrünstigen PKWs gerissen werden.

Almost, he advocated for building a ~37 km long maglev train (the Transrapid) between Munich main station and Munich airport.

The project never made it past planning because it would've cost billions with limited economic gain.

For mobile, I'd recommend Mull instead of Iceraven

Pros:

  • Just like Iceraven, a fork of Fenix
  • incorporates the arkenfox user.js
  • Doesn't have "No warranties or guarantees of security or updates or even stability!" in its project description

Cons:

  • APKs are only on FDroid
  • awful name, no animal reference
  • awful logo color scheme imo - magenta on turquoise is... an interesting choice

Here's a probably somewhat biased but from quickly skimming over it not inaccurate browser comparison by the developer(s) of Mull:

It doesn't look like AI art to me, there are no inconsistencies.

For example, the smoke in the background doesn't simply stop after passing behind the hippo.
