The amount of people arguing that this is a fine behavior in this thread makes the whole thing even funnier.
That's almost certainly going to be the narrative going forward. They'll tell us that Putin's actual plan was to invade Poland, and if there's any rump state left in western Ukraine that's proof that NATO succeeded to thwart Russia.
Solar isn't a solution for everything and that's precisely why China is pursuing a multi pronged approach for its transition off fossil fuels. China is actively developing wind power, geothermal, hydro, and nuclear on a massive scale. Each of these technologies has its own pros and cons, and they all work together.
That's factually wrong, US, Canada, and lots of nordic countries have far higher per capita consumption. Meanwhile, the transition from fossils at China is happening at a far more rapid pace than in the west. The gap is actually growing over time.
One of us certainly can't.
Russia is so screwed that their economy is growing by over 4% right now mostly from trade with China which exploded.
Yes, it's legal to be an idiot in China.
Newsflash, you can find people in any country who don't like their government, and you'll obviously see these people over represented in the population that left the country. The fallacy of your argument is to conclude that the people you know hold the opinion of the majority of people in China. I made plenty of friends who from China in university, and most of them went back after graduating. Vast majority of people in China support their government and are proud of their country. Even western polling admits this.
While the article indulges the common tropes about Russian army not being able to dominate Ukraine, it is ultimately advocating for freezing the conflict. If RAND believed that Russia would not win a long conflict against the west, then they would be advocating the opposite. The whole point of the proxy war as RAND explained in this article in 2014, was to weaken Russia. So, if that goal was being accomplished through attrition in Ukraine, then why would RAND all of a sudden advocate looking for an offramp?
A lot of this just comes down to economies of scale, we saw similar stuff happen with solar power where cost dropped dramatically once China started mass production of panels.
This is literally how every sane API works in languages built by adults. For example, here's what happens in Java:
I have no idea where people get this notion that a month isn't a defined size. Do people just not understand the concept of a month?
