Maybe it’s because I’m Dutch but… I don’t get it?
Is the joke that the words are too similar to English (wi-fi in the train) or because they sound silly?

In English, someone might say “wifi in da train” to be goofy or playful. The fact that the actual Dutch wording is almost exactly what someone would say to be funny in a stupid way in English gives off a sort of “is this a real language or is someone making up phrases to mess with me” vibe

Ahh! Now I get it, that’s quite funny :)
I thought my English was pretty good but it just goes to show how persistent language barriers can be.

They match the sound the same phrase in English produces better than English spelling would. How dare you!
