Yo, how did you disable it? It won't let me.
Settings, Apps, Galaxy Store, Disable. It should revert it to the stock version and disable it. Unless your phone has some additional restrictions that prevents disabling it.
Seems I've got those restrictions. Note 20 ultra.
Adb time
?
Use adb and see if you can flush those apps
Or instead I can not spend all that time and effort messing with my phone that holds all of my data and instead but a moondrop phone and never show Samsung my wallet again.
You're actually buying that Moondrop device? Let me know how it goes, seemed like a cool concept but I can't trust them enough to get a mobile device done right
I can count on them to have two headphone ports and an SD card slot. Who's second best?
Any cheap device with a bootloader that can be unlocked with a good dongle (check out the new SMSL dongle, looks cool)
Yeah, absolutely not. I'm not voting with my wallet to be shafted.
What part of my suggestion would "get you shafted"?
Literally everyone: Phone jack pls
Every phone manufacturer: lol no, you gotta buy your own annoying clump or buy our Bluetooth stuff! Fuck your hifi.
Idiots rewarding bad behavior: oh well, we'll buy your shit anyhow.
The only headphone jacks worthy of good IEMs are Sony, old LGs and maybe DAPs. That Moondrop device might be an exception but I'd skip a dedicated device and instead buy something I can root and then attach my dongle to, to get around that pesky Android resampling.
I miss my LG G7.
There's an argument to be made for better quality with external amps, but there's no argument to be made for manufacturers making things worse despite feedback specifically to leverage the market with their dominant position. It's some McKinsey shit.
I can't prevent capitalism. I'll just do the best I can. Luckily, good dongles aren't very expensive and I stay with the more budget IEMs. You might be different; I have seen plenty of Lotoo PAW Golds at CanJams, for example
Any dongles are a pain in the butt to deal with, and I used to strap an Oppo HA-2SE to the back of my phone and wear the Fostex TH-X00PH as my outside cans. I've mostly settled on the B&W PI7 for convenience lately.
I guess it doesn't bother me much because when I'm using dongles I'm usually sitting down (work, home, in the train etc). YMMV
