You could probably cover the scuffs with some permanent marker or paint (even nail polish, if they make it in that colour)
There are wax crayons made in most natural wood colours for this exact purpose. Lifesaver if you (or the bloody movers!) scratch a wooden floor.
Having done removals, rubbing a walnut on it can do the trick most of the time.
You know, I honestly haven't met another ex-removalist.
Yeah I'll probably cover the scuffs for now with permanent marker. Not sure if I will bother storing this/taking it with me when I leave this joint. Maybe my mood will be different then and I'll make more of an effort to try and keep it...

There are paint marker pens and and also scratch fix pens especially for wooden furniture
