Anything. I haven't gotten a Christmas gift in years. My family isn't big on holidays, but I like the idea that someone was thinking of me. I think a card would be nice.
The other night I watched the episode of Mr. Bean, where he's writing Christmas cards. He goes out, shoves them in under the door, comes back in, acts surprised to find them, reads them and hangs them on a string on the wall - all identical.
That's so cute! I should re-watch him.
And here some people are just chuckin those into the trash without opening the card. Do you really need a card for: happy thanksgiving! Have you ever seen a typewriter?
For the thought, that's all. Not so much about the card itself, but someone taking time to write to you, even if it is just a holiday greeting. But I also don't get a bunch so they're easy for me to hold on to. I still have my birthday card from my 20's ๐ . But do it need it? No. Just makes me smile when it happens.
Perhaps I am broken?
