Russia's new intermediate-range ballistic missile, the Oreshnik, recently fired at Ukraine, was developed using advanced manufacturing equipment from Western companies, despite sanctions, The Financial Times reported on Dec. 27.

Russia is circumventing sanctions. Those CNC controllers are common in high end manufacturing equipment including Chinese ones. Sucks that it happens, but it is not surprising that Russia uses its secret service to obtain things like that.
