How about we just shoot for healthiness as the norm? Generally that typically means thinner, but the superficial fixation is unnecessary in the equation.

Like any industry, the fashion industry’s goal is to make money, not be a philanthropic force for change.

What humans find most attractive is driven by biology first, and social norms second. As long as there are toned beautiful people on this planet they will be the “models” of desire.

And none of this has anything to do with acceptance. Just because society prefers fillet mignon doesn’t mean everyone hates macaroni and cheese.
