Whatever the UI in Jurassic Park is was a genuine linux interface at some point so maybe that

Yeah people like it when you take a genuine interest in them so asking about their hobbies and passions is also a good way to flirt. Basically you are trying to give the other person the sense that you are equal parts interested and impressed by them.

Edit: Been with my wife for 13 years now so this is probably bad advice for youngsters. These days they likely stare at their phones and send aubergine emojis to each other while sitting 2 feet away

Start-ups in the US benefit from an immediate market of 400 million people. The EU should be able to enjoy a similar benefit but you are right about the red tape. Obviously Brexit in the UK was a total anathema to that as well.

This movie did not work with me at all. I kinda understand the satirical elements but as a fan of the first film I couldn't stomach it.

Trap - Absolutely ridiculous movie with an insane plot. Basically a promo for the director's daughter to launch a pop star career IRL. It should be distasteful, and it is, however it was such dumb fun I'm ignoring all of those bad points.

I'm British and I think it's funny. Some of the more saccharine shows like US Office or Parks & Rec are not to my taste though.

I mean, I agree, but this dude is getting medical support for these injuries like his daughter never got to experience. Having his throat cut probably distracts him from the consequences of his actions and allows him to consider himself as a victim. I want him serving every second of his sentence.

Reinforce the international order of economic cooperation guided by a rules-based system underpinned by the UN,

Instead there were just foreign adventures in the Middle East and a lot of navel-gazing internal politics about climate change/denialism. You could have set a template for all countries to follow instead of inventing "rolling coal".

Maybe France...

Well, I mean they are all fucked up super-powers now. My main point was that there was a period of like 20+ years where the USA literally ruled the world but didn't do anything with it.

You wasted your chance as a hyper-power. The Soviet Union had fallen and the world was essentially yours but you did nothing with it. Now India and China are rising powers and you are going back to being a regular super-power.

I'll probably stick to asking for oat milk instead of "porridge water" or whatever the new mandated name will be. To be honest I do think calling it "milk" lets them inflate the price when it is essentially porridge water.

If Digital Underground were able to make more consistent albums then they'd be my favourite group ever. The best tracks are unreal but then the skits, etc. drag the whole thing down on repeated listens.

This could have major repercussions for the game as we know it. The RFU has already reduced the amount of contact allowed in the grassroots of the game. Will the product we all love survive a legal tsunami if this ends in a court ruling?

I always wonder if you could get players to sign away their rights to sue but I'm pretty certain that would not be legally enforceable, alongside being totally exploitative.

I find The National frequently embarassing as a Scottish person. Enjoying seeing them squirm here.

I guess punditry isn't working out for him with his current image woes. Couldn't find an english source for this one.

Heard the editor being interviewed on Radio4 Today Programme this morning. This 90s throwback is bizarre. Do people really think there will be demand from this after the initial novelty?

I read a couple articles this morning and the "journalism" reads like a Sunday Sport article.

Interesting thought experiment - since the magazine is online only - are the nonces going to have to print out the magazine now to leave it in shubbery for kids to find? Those reddit threads where every man over the age of 40 seems to have a story about finding porn mags in bushes always had a creepy undertone. I'm not sure that the 'porn fairy' commenters sometimes refer to was a very savoury character.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II: Accessibility Review (www.reviews.sightlesskombat.com)

Playing Hellblade 2 at the moment myself. Personally I'm fortunate not to need any of the accessibility features but I found this review to be a fascinating read.

The reviewer also compares the accessibility options to some other recent AAA releases in this reddit comment.

In terms of my opinion of the game: I've only got the Series S version so it's not the full fat graphics but even then they are stunning. I think some of the negative reviews were from people wanting it to be a different type of game, however, if you are aware it is basically a walking simulator with Punchout combat every so often then the story and world takes centre stage. The world is similar to God of War (2018) but grittier and focusing on other aspects of Scandi mythology. I think I like this world more.

Tuipulotu is such an asset. Great interview with him and excited to have his brother joining Edinburgh. Hope they got that supposed nonsense with Dave Cherry sorted out!
