And as an English expression for when you have a penchant for dropping things: "I have two left hands"

No, the death penalty increasing violence is about incentives.

If I shoot someone dead and you are the only witness, I have a choice to make. If I do not want to be executed, killing you is the best chance for escaping punishment.

The more severe the punishment the more desperate one will become to avoid it.

They haven't said they are seeking the death penalty. They have charged him with a crime where they could seek it.

But I agree they're pushing for a deal.

Discussions on retaining ISK over the euro are not based on how difficult it is to swap the currency or change systems that use cash.

It's about retaining control over monetary policy, which is centrally decided in the eurozone.

This is the product of clinics being owned by corporations chasing a specific return, and not being owned by a local group of physicians who actually want to care for people.

Shop local applies.

"part of the fabric" not "the fabric"

I'm an ally, but at the end of the day let's not over conflate statements. It doesn't serve anyone a favor.

Over stating gives poor intentioned people room and also means that supporters relent.

"The fabric" should never apply to any group tbh.

This is such a weird exemption. It's so narrow that these places will have to raise their wages by default anyway.

Nothing will stop their employees from just leaving to take a job at McDonald's for $20/hr instead of the $15 or whatever panera wants to pay.

I thought this was some sort of weeks old story being posted....

I think you are under interpreting. The road is absolutely too small for two cars, and it's showing that bikes have priority on that part of the road. If two cars are in the center car lane, they must wait for the bike lanes to be clear to pass each other, it's not first come, first served as a road with no bike lanes would be.

I was hanging with a girl that was pretty chill. We had hung a few times over the few months we had met, and had a nice platonic thing going.

She came over and we started to watch some documentary, and in it, there was an abusive man of African descent. She straight up said, "I think there's something genetic with them that causes them to have a short temper and behave like that".

Yeah, we never hung out again.
