Do alarm bells ring or not?

When talking about the best games of all time people generally mention Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario 64, Halo 3, The Last of Us, Nier Automata, etc. , but dismiss other great games.

What games do you think are unfairly forgotten from this conversation?

Personally I think the original Dead Rising, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Dragon's Dogma: The Dark Arisen and Lunar: Eternal Blue should be talked as some of the best games of all time. They're such great and unique games!

From a far-right Zionist government led by a wannabe dictator, like Benjamin Netanyahu, it is what you can expect.

He's going to play to his extreme nationalistic base, gambling the future of Israel and the Middle East and forfeiting Israeli lives, for personal power, like a madman.

Imagine you could give a Christmas gift to anyone, famous or not, what you would give and to whom? And why?

I would give Palia to my upstairs neighbor. To see if he stops being a massive dick to everyone, and just starts being friendly and happier.

The Callisto Protocol that you played now is not how it originally released. It was patched and tweaked a lot.

Also the gameplay is flawed. See the combat system with more than one enemy and it gets wonky. One of the changes was exactly to make enemies less aggressive as before they would often gang up on you and lead to frustrating deaths.

I like The Callisto Protocol a great deal as well, but it is a game flawed in what matters most: the gameplay.

Unfortunately people don't seem any happier.

I've played many games this year. The highlighting are:

  • Fallout 3 - I forgot how fun this game is. Especially the exploration;
  • Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings - good game as well;
  • Dead Rising - a truly hard game, that is also fun. Zombies!
  • Dead Space (2008) - still an awesome game!
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - the game is fun with the graphics and Force powers. Even though most boss fights are lame;
  • Silent Hill 2 - still awesome!
  • The Callisto Protocol - pretty good game! Surprised me how good it is;
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 - what a garbage game. Bad boss fights just to pad the game out.

How many and which bad games did you play this year?

Anything that gets your heart racing can trigger a heart attack.

That sucks, but the studio was very misleading about The Day Before.

Some games do this because of advertising. They can't present ads if you're offline.

Zero. It's important to me to be personal in my interactions.

We really live in an age of snowflakes. People can't just take one on the chin and move on, particularly when it's justified. And even feel the need to hit back making it even worse. Sad times.

Judge made a valid snarky comment.
