Please provide an archived link to famous people and politicians.

Also, no links directly, only a pic or an archived link or I'll remove it. If you repost it with the archived link and/or pic, I'll let it go.

Thanks for understanding.

Please provide an archive link if this is a prominent person. He has a wikipedia page, so he is one. I'm going to remove this until you provide the archive link.

King of Mars while living on earth. Do you really think he'd want to live there? He might visit once, but probably by VR.

It wasn't expensive, but it had more sentimental value than my fear of what was on it.

When the cops were on silent strike in Seattle, our car got broken into a lot. You get used to it. The first time was weird, but then I just started not being attached to anything I have in the car. I definitely got rid of extra straws and stuff afterwards though. I also had a water bottle that they didn't take and I sanitized the shit out of it. I doubt they slept in it, the risk would be pretty high.

I'm glad the guy responded though, he's probably helping someone that's reading his comments. I doubt he's afraid of being trolled.

Whoa, you're right! The US should be so lucky.

Healthcare in South Korea is universal, although a significant portion of healthcare is privately funded. South Korea's healthcare system is based on the National Health Insurance Service, a public health insurance program run by the Ministry of Health and Welfare to which South Koreans of sufficient income must pay contributions in order to insure themselves and their dependants, and the Medical Aid Program, a social welfare program run by the central government and local governments to insure those unable to pay National Health Insurance contributions. In 2015, South Korea ranked first in the OECD for healthcare access.[1] Satisfaction of healthcare has been consistently among the highest in the world – South Korea was rated as the second most efficient healthcare system by Bloomberg.[2][3] Health insurance in South Korea is single-payer system.[4] The introduction of health insurance resulted in a significant surge in the utilization of healthcare services. Healthcare providers are overburdened by government taking advantage of them.

Edit: Acording to Numbeo (?), the Us is 38th and South Korea is 2. https://www.numbeo.com/health-care/rankings_by_country.jsp

I don't think they have universal healthcare and their people are worked really hard, not sure why you'd want to go there other than it has a great city.

I only banned him for a day. He can definitely have that opinion and have measured responses while not being aggressive and trying to get the other person to start arguing. I did hesitate, but like I said, it's only for a day and I'm trying to keep the trolls from seeing this place as a fertile ground. If they're genuine, they'll understand.

[-] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 days ago

Settle down, this seems like rage bait. I'm going to give you a day to cool off.

[-] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 days ago

Thank you for pointing that out and then providing the link. People don't always read the sidebar. This also brings attention to it.

You've been reported as a troll and judging by how people are reacting to your posts, I think many agree. I'm not going to remove your comment, because there is great discussion counteracting what you're saying. I am going to ban you for a couple of days though. If you come back trolling, I'll ban you permanently. Thanks for understanding.

If it's just a random person having fun, don't worry as much about it. This will help with 2 things:

  • Not as much disinformation
  • Less political rage bait

“Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing,” the family said in a statement. “And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him.”

Jones was arguably the most versatile pop cultural figure of the 20th century, perhaps best known for producing the albums Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad for Michael Jackson in the 1980s, which made the singer the biggest pop star of all time. Jones also produced music for Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer and many others.

I had saved this site a couple of years ago. This doesn't seem correct unless pink means fighting. I know Ukraine has captured some areas and it doesn't seem to show. Any thoughts if I should ditch this as a source?

Some of the drones were shot down over the city of Podolsk, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said. The city in the Moscow region is some 38 km (24 miles) south of the Kremlin.

"This is one of the largest attempts to attack Moscow using drones ever," Sobyanin said on the Telegram messaging app in the early hours of Wednesday. "The layered defence of Moscow that was created made it possible to successfully repel all the attacks from the enemy UAVs."

Note: I haven't used any of these, I can't speak for them. I do think it's cool for the environment and people on a budget though.

The trust document sets out what will happen to ownership of the media assets upon Murdoch’s death: His voting share will be transferred to the four oldest children. That could lead to a scenario in which the children are fighting over the future of the media assets. Fear of that outcome seems to have motivated Rupert Murdoch to seek this change to the trust.

Although Lachlan is now the chair of News Corp. and executive chair and CEO of Fox Corporation, the children have already aired some of their disagreements over the political direction of the media companies. For example, James and his wife have criticized Fox’s move to the right. Murdoch may well see this as a threat to the company’s business model, which caters to a conservative audience.

A geyser in Yellowstone's Biscuit Basin suddenly and violently exploded at about 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday because of a hydrothermal explosion underground, sending debris and boiling water and steam showering down on the area.

Some of these pieces of rock were up to 3 feet in diameter and weighed more than a person, according to an update from Yellowstone National Park and the United States Geological Survey.

In the three-month study, the healthy participants increased their daily dietary fibre intake by 10 grams, which is equivalent to about four apples or 3 deciliters of oatmeal. To study the significance of the increased fibre intake, gut bacteria were collected at the beginning and the end of the study. These gut bacteria were then transplanted into mice which were fed a low-fiber Western diet. In the group of animals transplanted with intestinal bacteria from the beginning of the study, the researchers observed damage of the mucus layer. The opposite was seen in the group with increased consumption of dietary fibres, where the mucus layer looked fine.

"The result highlights the significant role that dietary fibre has for our intestinal bacteria, which in turn contributes to maintaining the important mucus barrier," says Rachel Feeney, Doctoral student at the Department of Molecular Biology at Umeå University.

My friends keep begging me to go swimming at this location. I've been told by locals that it's not a wise decision. I was wondering how I can tell? I don't think it's about bacteria, but more there are a ton of boats, planes and former industrial waste in the area. Can I tell from these tests?

It is Lake Union A522 if it doesn't link properly. Also, click all of the boxes to see the data and put in May through now to check the test.

FYI, I've seen people swimming there, they seem like tourists though.
