But 'cold' and 'heated' are bad. People are weird about temperature.

Ice cold insult. Sick burn.

"You warm up the ice! It's the best of both worlds!"

Would "hot blooded" be good or bad? 🤔

I guess if your temperature is 103 then it's bad, unless you're a Foreigner.

You can be both down for something, and up for it at the same time

There is a quote I like by famous character actor and certified psychopath Klaus Kinski who once said to his audience (translation mine):

If only you were hot! Or if only you were cold! But you are lukewarm, and I spit on you!

[-] halvar@lemm.ee 9 points 6 months ago

But lukewarm and mid isn't.

[-] craftyindividual@lemm.ee 3 points 6 months ago

And when I blow hot one minute and cold the next, suddenly everyone has a problem with it :(

[-] xep@fedia.io 5 points 6 months ago

What's the word for something in the middle? Tepid?

[-] Chozo@fedia.io 10 points 6 months ago

These days, it's "mid".

[-] gedaliyah@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago

Lukewarm, chilly…

[-] Zwiebel@feddit.org 4 points 6 months ago

But then we also don't like people too far from average.
