They're probably looking for historical oil rig explosions, or the likelyhood, or something. Not "how to blow up an oil rig"

Studies have statistically shown that there's less chance of an incident if you do it at the end of the week.

[-] el_abuelo@programming.dev 1 points 1 month ago

Unless you're in my line of work. If I do it at the end of the week, there's guaranteed to be an incident.

Can you guess what I do?

Hey, I've recently seen the movie of the same title, How to Blow Up a Pipeline! Great watch. Seeing the book description, I reckon the movie being based on the book did a lot more building on top of it, seeing as the movie tells a story and the book appears to be nonfiction (though parts of the story in the movie might as well be real)

[-] lugal@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 month ago

Iirc the movie is inspired by the book but I haven't seen it yet and honestly barely read the book

[-] lemmyknow@lemmy.today 2 points 1 month ago

Yeah, I reckon so. But the movie tells a story, and the book I reckon doesn't (though I have not read it). So they've built upon the book, if my "deduction" (based on the book description) is correct. 'Tis a great movie!
