Same with a lot of them, if you're really into a hobby and it is presentable.... You've spent a fuckton of time on it. Something you could do while you were single, 10x harder to pick up or continue doing in a relationship since your time is now divided. It becomes one of those, "Yeah they love doing photography and they're really good at it!" (cue partner standing there who hasn't taken a picture in over a year looking sheepish).

I always thought the "see something, say something" tag-line was creepy as fuck and don't understand why everyone doesn't get the same vibe. It's common sense that if you see someone being harmed or in a harmful situation you speak up. But this is just a blanket "see something" which feels like a dog whistle for all the nosy and paranoid people to spy on everyone and it's for the best. I guess we'll have the same personalities in search algorithms going forward -_-
I'll kinda take a different approach since everyone's covered the basics with sex work. The problem with how you've presented it, is you're defining an act on how you perceive and want to regulate it. The simple question becomes, "should people have bodily autonomy?"
Everyone has a different opinion on what can be considered intimate/romantic. Some people feel a full body massage is too intimate, others a dinner with a co-worker is too romantic (not agreeing, just throwing out examples). If we start regulating based on how someone feels something should be perceived than it's a slippery slope. I can fully understand that you believe sex to be romantic while also realizing that others don't feel the same way or view it as a positive aspect of it. If it's not being forced on you then it shouldn't be a problem what consenting adults do in privacy.
I mean, that's a sweet position if the safety nets actually helped. Just kinda lame you have the same attitude as a 1%-er about it which just points to trolling. Would rather my taxes go to housing someone than war manufacturing or price gouging by corporate companies.

Bernie Sanders fell in line a long time ago with the same party he openly said was unfairly treating elections. Vote Biden if that's your choice and I fully support that, but we need to stop sugar coating and pretending everything is A-ok in the DNC if we ever want an elected official who represents the average voter in the party.
