I daydream of Zomboid every week :) I just want to get out there and SURVIVE, man!
These are a bit more make your own story: Rimworld with Multiplayer mod (feels like its vanilla multiplayer tbh) and Project Zomboid :)
The types of missiles, counter missiles and their costs are explained pretty well for someone who knows almos tnothing about them. Even Ukraine's 4.5% counter-rate against ballistic missiles seems crazy, some of those can fly at 16,100kmph! (10,000mph!)
Maybe combine the loot fest with some hades difficult combat? I have similar feelings as yours, the genre is really cool but in the end, it's all just this hidden grindfest? At least with (real) brutal combat, you still need to "make it happen", big numbers is just the req.
I don't understand the outrage either. All the folks screaming at this clearly think inclusivity is bad. It's weird to be on Xitter rn, you feel like you want the reach it gives, but do you really want reach when all you can reach is these hatespewers?
I get angry when folks cut in line, or otherwise broadcast that they think that everyone around them is basically a piece of human garbage whose time is worth way less then theirs. Well, you don't know me or my life, rude stranger.
They might think that everyone is worthless, but it's common courtesy to give random strangers the benefit of the doubt until they prove to you that they do not deserve that courtesy. It seems like such a low bar to me for living comfortably in a society, so if my fellow humans can't even muster that, that hits me in the feels :-). Oh well, sucks to be them!
That sounds like a lot of work without any returns!
The /s at the end is used to indicate sarcasm. With that information, I would rate it joke/10
Humanity accepts your challenge! See y'all on the battlefield ;-)
I like Lemmy a lot, and I liked Reddit before. I never really liked Twitter, just followed some NASA accounts that told what certain probes/landers/rovers were doing. I'm interested in Mastodon because federated platforms seem to sustainably fill the gap the big 5 are trying to enlarge. What kind of content are you guys getting from there?
Lemmy was kind of jarring at first, but extensions like the universal link switcher help a lot. Any stuff like that to help onboarding Mastodon? Thx folks.
Apples USB-C DAC dongle is available locally, cheap including shipping and basically best at price point (cheap) unless you want to roll the dice with Alibaba or similar. I have 3 because dongles tend to disappear, with them being tiny and all. I had others from international sellers but they all disappointed except for audio volume.
