You only think in short terms. You have a problem now, so you want it changed now. Later, it will turn into a bigger problem and you'll want it changed again, only it will be harder.

You think the answer to get democrats to win is to change a process to something that would currently benefit democrats. There's no reason to believe that it would continue to benefit democrats after the change, and it also doesn't get rid of the 2 party system, because while the demols are a bit better overall for most of the country, both parties are still bought and owned by the wealthy. The rich have been on a downward tax paying slide for the last 75 years, regardless of who was in office.

There's currently about 5 to 7 swing states because that's currently how all the other areas vote, and those change a lot more often than population by state. By your argument of doing away with the electoral college, California, new York, Texas, and Florida would decide the elections and no one running for office would care about doing anything in about 40 states.

The UK? You have less land area than several of our individual states. You're smaller than Colorado.

And a coastal state with a huge population and no understanding of things people in a landlocked state 700 miles away shouldn't get to have more of a say in who controls the country. Without the electoral college, pretty much every president would come from one of the same 5 states every time, and the rest of the country would always get placed on the back burner, because "they never win elections".

Each state should have more of an equal say in who the president is.

"Charges 30% fee" "That's too high! You're ripping us off"

"Charges 10% fee" "That's too low! No other platforms could hope to compete against you with that!"

This is nothing but people bitching about nothing for the price gouging. I will give merit to the anti competitive nature if game makers aren't allowed to have their games listed for less at other stores. As far as add on game packages locking you in goes....that might be a technical minefield to ensure compatibility.

"Minnesota and the CDC reported that the three hospitalized patients were treated with the anti-parasitic drug albendazole and recovered."

Albendazole and mebendazole kill of intestinal parasites in the same way. They starve them of sugars for several hours. I bring both up just because it rings angry memories about US Healthcare. They typically work with a single dose treatment.

Mebendazole is a prescription pill in the US and despite having been made in around the early 1970's and costing around 4 cents a pill to make, in the US, after getting a prescription, the pills are $250 a piece.

In most of the world, they are prescription free and you can pick up a 6 pack of them for like $12.

If anyone's curious, it looks like you "hold the brake and swipe up" on a touchscreen area to go in drive, and "hold the brake and swipe down" to go into reverse.

So yeah, it's not a physical shifter, though it seems pretty intuitive and simple. BUT if you're in reverse and try to swipe up to drive(like you'd do during a 3 point turn) , you have no feedback aside from looking at the screen to let you know it actually registered your shift.

IMO this is another idiotic implementation at going cheap on physical controls or "being high tech fancy" that shouldn't exist. It's dumb to not have important functions give physical feedback while driving. I'm not laying most of the blame on tesla for this. It still sounds like she's the one who really screwed herself, but I'd all but guarantee there's going to be a lawsuit for this one, and rightly so. Fuck all this touch control crap in cars. It's lousy enough just on the radios.

The main issue is amazon and their insistence on allowing China to sell utter trash, knock offs, counterfeits, and lies.

Amazon used to require someone selling in the US to have a physical presence of at least like a small office building in the US in order to sell goods here. They got rid of that like 10 years ago and now you get bs brands like Liuxipon selling flashlights that are garbage with 300 fake 5 star reviews. Then if they get flagged enough or get enough real 1 star reviews, no problem. Now their company name is Lioxipan and they do it again.

Amazon turned itself into a trash heap.
