I've given up. The interest rates are ridiculous, and home prices where I want to live (anywhere in the western USA pretty much) are insanely inflated.

I bought a center stand at Walmart, that mounts to the wall mount spot on the back of the TV. "Onn" brand for $18.

Works, but I do understand your frustration.

I agree. I live on the very rural Oregon Coast, and everyone here is overly friendly. It's actually kind of exhausting at this point lol. Way different from when I lived in the city. I need to find a good middle ground.
