Yeah. I'd totally buy an $800 million phone.

Realistically you can buy something like a Fairphone that lets you replace most parts that wear out or get damaged, which definitely increases the overall longevity of your phone. Or that CAT phone that's supposed to be super durable if you're prone to breaking your phone. Or if smart phones aren't your deal you can maybe find the old reliable Nokia 3210, that phone does not break and the battery can be replaced.

If you have phone longevity issues then stop buying phones that are not designed to be used for a long time.

That would be a quality black humor skit. A reporter walks down the street and finds a blow up torso. "This guy must've fallen out a window or something". He continue walking and sees people getting lined up. "Just rounding up some thieves". As he passes they all get shot. "what was that?". Add a few more horrific images and eventually the reporter finishes his report with "as you can see, no violence is happening in Gaza".

I can see this being a controversial penalty considering a part of the blame does fall on Russell for not reacting to Alonso slowing down (checking from the driver cam he seems to have plenty of time to react), but overall I think Alonso does deserve the penalty. I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish but his deliberate actions cost Russell the race.

GDPR applies to any entity that processes personal data. That includes instance owners. In fact of you look up GDPR enforcements you can that it's also enforced against private persons.

Clearly it is because 4 years ago, when Biden was 77 the election didn't revolve around age.

I'm just going to throw it out that I think people are only looking at the first number and don't care about the second one, kinda like in stores 9.99 seems much cheaper than 10.00 despite the actual difference only being a penny. It's not a 77 year old vs an 81 year old, it's 70 year old vs 80 year old. 70 year old is an old man, 80 year old is your demented grandpa.

I'd give him a fair shot of winning even if it's for a female role and against female actors.

I'll concede, useless was a bit harsh. Let's say "no longer fit for the average user" considering the average lifespan of a mobile phone is 2-4 years and a company doing software and security updates for a decade is very rare.

You are very much the exception here.

But bro, you can climb mountains taller than the everest. Think of the possibilities, like climbing a mountain. Imagine looking up and seeing a mountain and then looking down and still seeing a mountain, but then you look left and right and you guessed it, still mountain.

Of course not, it's the top selling game on Steam.

The race is over and I still can't get over what Perez pulled. Calling it completely unnecessary feels like an understatement. The move was so stupid it's bordering on self-sabotage.

Yeah. Every time someone comes up with "games are too cheap" I always point to the fact that the vast majority of AAA games have insane amount of bloat. If AAA devs were struggling to make a profit then a clear way to cut costs would be to streamline the product. If leveling is not vital, cut it. If randomized loot is not necessary, cut it. If horse balls shrinking/expanding with the weather is not necessary, cut it.

There are always ways to cut corners in a AAA games and if the cost was an issue they'd do it. But the fact that they don't shows how little the actually struggle. So far Bethesda is the only company that is clearly cutting the corners of their AAA products.

Interesting point about the future of Reddit in that article:

Huffman said, however, that he’d like some form of revenue-sharing.

“I would like subreddits to be able to be businesses if they choose,” he said, adding that’s “another conversation, but I think that’s the next frontier of Reddit.”

The long-term goal is monetization of subreddits. I'm glad I won't be there to see that happen.
