That applies to games people know about. If nobody knows about your game then it doesn't count. For example Vampire survivors barely made any money on the first few weeks of its early access release. In fact it didn't really start making money until youtubers/streamers essentially advertised it for free.

We already know lowering the cut doesn't make us pay less. All it does is put more money into the pockets of the publisher.

And I very much doubt Valve's cut is a reason indie game can't be profitable. There are asset flips going up on Steam on a daily basis. If asset flipping wasn't profitable we wouldn't see them propping up like mushrooms after rain. When asset flips are more profitable than an indie game there's something wrong with that game.

Cmon man. You call it a complete lie and then proceed to lie through your teeth?

It affected EVGA GPUs during the beta, EVGA accepted the responsibility and offered to replace the cards. However after the beta the game also bricked Gigabyte and laptop (which I think came straight from Nvidia) GPUs, so the issue wasn't exclusive to EVGA.

As for EVGA no longer making cards. Their cards were highly regarded because they made quality cards. The reason they stopped making cards wasn't because they did a shitty job, the reason was Nvidia. The official reasoning EVGA gave was that Nvidia made it difficult to maintain consistent profit margins, but the rumors are that EVGA saw the 40 Series specs along with the demands Nvidia had for the manufacturers and didn't want anything to do with that shit. And rightfully so how poorly the 40 series was received.

But that's cool because the company name is a elementary school level word play, exactly the kind Musk likes. Also the company is about digging holes and everyone in kindergarten knows how cool digging is.

You can never forget that we're dealing with a person whose emotional aptitude is the equivalent of a child.

I can see this being a controversial penalty considering a part of the blame does fall on Russell for not reacting to Alonso slowing down (checking from the driver cam he seems to have plenty of time to react), but overall I think Alonso does deserve the penalty. I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish but his deliberate actions cost Russell the race.

I played a few games after the patch and I came to a similar opinion. I don't think the railgun was the real issue. The chargers were the issue and people were using the railgun because it was by far the best option against chargers.

I don't think the railgun needed such a nerf. I think the flamer buff and breaker nerf together would've brought railgun numbers down, because flamer is now crazy good against chargers while also being good against patrols. At least you would've had to choose between the range of the railgun or the crowd control of the flamer. Now I'm just going to be using the flamer, which creates the same issue as before just with a different gun.

Clearly it is because 4 years ago, when Biden was 77 the election didn't revolve around age.

I'm just going to throw it out that I think people are only looking at the first number and don't care about the second one, kinda like in stores 9.99 seems much cheaper than 10.00 despite the actual difference only being a penny. It's not a 77 year old vs an 81 year old, it's 70 year old vs 80 year old. 70 year old is an old man, 80 year old is your demented grandpa.

I legitimately thought it was a satirical joke when I first saw it. It just comes across as something so nonsensical that you can believe Trump would say it while also sounding so stupid that you can't believe he'd actually say it.

Americans showing support for Isreal does not make them IDF. Palestinians showing support for Hamas does not make them Hamas.

That argument doesn't make sense because human vision isn't that great either. When it's dark or raining or snowing or foggy our vision is pretty shit.

I'm not saying LIDAR is better but rather point out that actually you want different types of sensors to accurately assess the traffic, because just one type of sensor isn't likely to cut it. If you look at other manufacturers they're not using only LIDAR or only camera. Some use LIDAR + camera, some user RADAR + camera, some user LIDAR, RADAR and camera. And I'm pretty sure that as manufacturers will aim for higher SAE levels they will add even more sensor into their cars. It's only Tesla who thinks they can somehow do more with less.

Yeah. Every time someone comes up with "games are too cheap" I always point to the fact that the vast majority of AAA games have insane amount of bloat. If AAA devs were struggling to make a profit then a clear way to cut costs would be to streamline the product. If leveling is not vital, cut it. If randomized loot is not necessary, cut it. If horse balls shrinking/expanding with the weather is not necessary, cut it.

There are always ways to cut corners in a AAA games and if the cost was an issue they'd do it. But the fact that they don't shows how little the actually struggle. So far Bethesda is the only company that is clearly cutting the corners of their AAA products.
