I guess the people polled don't play multiplayer video games if "other" is only 6%.

I'm more into just educating the users to not post shit they don't want out in the public in the first place. No matter how good the efforts of the server administrators are in removing the content, there's still the possibility of users, be it actual humans or bots, collecting that content and continuing to spread it elsewhere or otherwise use it.

I mean, go ahead and follow their request if they do ask, but also explain to them to maybe think a little harder about what they are posting because you cannot guarantee someone outside your sphere of influence doesn't have the same content saved somewhere.

That is kinda how we do it. Everything is tile and there are drains in the floor so we just spray everything down with sanitizer+hot water and then mop up the excess to also get the floors. That's why everything is always moist.

Having a hose would make it faster, tho...

So you just post shit without even checking the verasity of what you post? Noted.

There is salt in the earth.

Salt dissolves in water.

If earth was covered completely in water, there would be even more salt in it.

I literally just saw a video on cave paintings the other day and one of the oldest set of cave drawings ever found in France (dating almost 14,000 years ago) are some of the most detailed, and realistic depictions of animals in artwork I've seen.

I don't think it took long to be realistic. It started realistic and evolved into stylization. And then looped back to realistic being cool again.

A Voxellab Aquilla FDM printer. They're regularly on sale for about $70. Maybe cheaper these days since they're kind old now.

Not my McDonald's. The worst it's ever been was like 2 weeks after I started and some tweaker literally blasted liquid shit all over the fucking walls in the handicap stall. I asked for a week off after that and they gave it to me despite not actually going past the probation period where you can start accruing PTO.

Did it come out your nose?

Dude, the guy who introduced it in the movie straight up said "it's so bad!"

The one game I remember getting based on the cover alone was Solstice.

That game was hard as fuck. I don't think I ever saw the end.

Bangin' music tho. I still sometimes get ear worms from it.

I've usually been pretty open minded about your posts, giving the benefit of the doubt that it's all just for perspective and not your own political astroturfing, but this one is straight up, grade-A bullshit. He literally did say that. There are video clips of him saying it because he fucking said it during a public event that was being filmed.

For fuck's sake.

Just saw a thing about Minnesota's flag contest and some joker suggested using California's flag which I started overthinking about which leads us here. If Minnesota actually changed their state flag to California's state flag, could California sue Minnesota? ๐Ÿค”

I forgot to get a pic of the entire spread before everyone attacked it, but here's my plate. Turkey, ham, stuffing, Mac n cheese, green beans casserole, yeast roll and cornbread muffin.

Not pictured: candied yams (I have those with dessert ๐Ÿ˜‹)

I have recently played 3 games that have forced a lengthy, unskippable tutorial section that runs for several hours of the game, just to unlock the most basic functions like buying the items, customizing features, multiplayer, and even 2-player split screen modes.

For 2 of these games (Armored Core 6 and Gran Turismo 7), the major draw for me was the MP and I haven't even gotten to check out MP yet because it's locked out until you get passed a certain point in the progression system. Fuckin' why do any developers do this? I just wanted to play with my sister but we have to get through most of the fucking game before we are allowed to do the multiplayer modes. Such bullshit.

"A Q would never allow it!"

Maybe... what if the Borg had found the suicidal one from Voyager and he let them because he found the idea fascinating?

Just wondering about how my life could have touched someone else's and I realized this. Maybe you're just joking around online and mention something that triggers an idea in someone else that leads to revolutionary new things that impact humans everywhere. Even if you're forgotten, or uncredited, you had a meaningful contribution.

Shouldn't it be the most comfortable temperature? ๐Ÿค”

So I'm sitting here looking at a black widow on my porch and it's a big fat fucker. I wanted to take a pic but I don't want to get too close. Yet the image my camera picks up looks like I am trying to snap the pic from the opposite wall of the porch when I'm only about 2 feet from the spider. Why is that?

You're not quite naked, but you're not quite dressed either. Is it legal? I don't know and I've always been curious.

Maybe it's even already happened and I'm simply not aware of it.

I'm trying to think of ways to counter cheating through custom mods as I've seen used in other games I've played. Like changing wall textures to be transparent or invisible (easy; just don't allow them to be modded) or player models with huge axis lines extending from them, so they clip through walls (where my question stems from).

I know I can check for custom model files being used and allow or deny connections, but if I still want players to be able to have custom shit, the next best solution I thought it was making it so a custom model still has to fit within a certain boundary of size, eliminating the huge axis lines and other fuckery cheaters might try. Is that even possible, though? I don't think I've ever seen anything actually do it.

I guess this would pertain mostly to the engine so let's just say UE5 or Unity since those are most likely what I would use.

I'm curious if it would ever actually be possible to encounter one of his joke items in the wild, or if they merely only exist in photos.

And if they are real plants: Could I just... Take it? Would it be like finding painted rocks or would that be akin to the dude who ate the banana art?
