is it user friendly if it's so prone to breakage?

[-] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 3 points 5 days ago

right. it was the corporate centralization and profit motives. that was the main focus of my ire. but how the corpos captured the net was by investing in lowering the bar of interactive participation. it's great that more people got to participate, it's not great that it came at the cost of participation benefitting corporations, not participants

web 2.0 was the generation of web technologies defined by a lower barrier to entry for web posting thanks to centralized platforms provided by for profit corporations. think facebook, reddit, twitter, youtube

Putin’s recent statements that Russians’ “disposable incomes have also increased [and are outpacing inflation]”, and “the overall situation is stable and reliable,” is outright false.

when was the last time the sickly potato shaped dickhead said anything real? like surely he's said one real thing at somepoint? or no? maybe not?

poverty is poverty baby. the powerful class exploits propaganda to keep the rural poor and urban poor from understanding eachother's struggles and keep them hating eachother. that's why racism is such a powerful tool. it expedites and distributes the process to deluding poor white men, often rural, into hating poor black men, often urban, and preventing them from analyzing their deeper connections and commonalities. the hegemony helps enforce poverty. we need to break racism, sexism, and homophobia to break the lack of class solidarity. they really hate us so much they'd break themselves to break us.

this belgrade strike is a sign that hope is warranted. this urban / rural divide is crossable by instilling in the bigots at least enough organizational skills to learn the more people in their circle of trust they can listen to to guide them against the bosses who break them. if you are in a position where you can talk to a rural person subjected to near constant hate safely, talk to them about how a labor strike or a boycott could help them get theirs. they don't need to enact violence on someone weaker than them, they need to stand strong together against someone stronger

maaan… how the fuck are people this uninformed about who donald trump is and what he's about? did all these people think supporting him would curry them favor, and make their people safer than if a less insane candidate took office? like, i geuinely don't understand how you hear what this motherfucker says and not realize his whole entire deal i hating people who aren't cishet white men. like i can get my friend who the first ever election she voted in in our country was 2016 when she grew up with different formats of propaganda, but he was president for four years, and this go around he's been more mask off, and the people saying he's dangerous have been more direct in their messaging.

like… how are people this illiterate beyond just reading comprehension? like, why don't you got anything comprehension, what is this?

Its also proof to the dipshits we don't hate masculinity. We hate toxic masculinity. In fact, we find Tim Walz brand of masculinity refreshing and delightful
