Seems like you're prescribing a lot of opinions to the people you're replying to. But if you go back and read what they wrote carefully you should see that your deductions and assumptions about what they think don't really stand the test of reason and semantics. Especially given how much of a tech-focused forum this is. Every third post is about Linux - so realistically what are the chances that you are enaging with primitivists on here?

You're tilting at windmills. It's not about rejecting technological advancement. It's about ensuring its fairness and accessability.

Yes, technology can be (and is) used for social good. It can also be (and is) used to opress and supress. What's more both dynamics are happening at the same time. The world isn't black-and-white. The human condition is complex.

Regardless of who she is and who you think she is, the fact is she is correct in her assessment and there is a mountain of evidence to substantiate her claim, from her own country and the world over.

And this isn't exactly rocket science. Arguing that disinformation doesn't present a significant threat to our way of life is like arguing the world isn't round. There isn't really any debate on this in the scientific/expert community.

Speak for yourself. A majority of Eastern Europeans see the US as a key strategic ally, and for good reason.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if California's GDP has surpassed that of the UK, which would make it the fifth largest economy in the world if it were to secede.

There is a point you're trying to make. Make it.

Firat of all, your claim that the original post says that Harris is perfect/faultless, is obviously false. The original post does not make that claim, it doesn't even imply it. So that's a strawman.

Second, your tone of communication strongly indicates a contrarian "holier-than-though" mindset that is typical for teenagers but also people who never grow out of mental self-indulgence. The lack of any sort of substantive argumentation doesn't help your case either.

The fact that people like you can rationalize the Kremlin's far-right, proto-fascist ideology as some sort of anti-Nazi movement is just more proof that the biggest threat to humanity is ingorance combined with a near-infinite potential for self-serving delusions. We desperately need to reform our formal education systems and limit the impact of authoritarian propaganda as much as possible, and from there the number of victims, like Dragon.

Right back at ya, my vatnik friend ;)

Edit: See, if you're gonna (try to) apply logical reasoning, you have to apply it consistently and objectively. Otherwise it stops being logic and turns into dogma.

So you're saying Russia should stop the invasion so the war ends? I agree full heartedly.
