Pizza baking sheets. They didn't fit in my oven.

A paella pan. I don't like paella.

A coffee grinder. It just doesn't grind coffee beans to the right size.

A random Italian cookbook. I have a chefs degree. I'm well down with basic Italian cooking.

See, I cook every day. Twice. And on occasion I love to cook for friends but that also means I'm over poor quality cooking stuff. I'll buy my own gear. Most people think they do me a favour but I just have useless stuff piling up over the years. I'm grateful to get gifts but last year I just told people right a way that if they want to give me cooking related gifts I would be equally happy with some special sort of salt of some fun ingredients to cook with. Those things don't last as long but it would make for a much better gift for a food enthousiast.

Contractual and lawful reasons.

You can't be fired without proper cause so when they fire you without proper cause the wil have to keep you on board for a while or choose to pay you out for that amount of time. I was sort of a foreman with a teal of about 20 technicians and I also had to work directly with our customers. They deemed me a liability because I was fired so they chose to pay out.

Same with salesmen. When you fire them without proper cause they want you out of their network as soon as possible and won't take the risk of letting you work with costumers anymore so they just pay out the amount of time that is needed.

I've set up some tunnels. Works nice but then the voices came. 'Why would you trust a company like Cloudflare with all your data?' 'Why rely on this one company for all your services?'

Nearly a year into my selfhosting journey and I'm more confused than ever.

I used to be a residential building safety inspector. One of the houses that I screened looked very average but the garden had a huge collection of bonsai. Some of them were nearly 100 years old. Central Europe. Crazy.

OK. One less child. Now I just have to decide whether the boy or the girl has to go.
