If I had spent so much time in prison and escaped against all odds…only for some probably 25 year old cop to tell me I’m going back to prison for something I know I didn’t do? He was undoubtedly struggling from ptsd for this incredibly massive life interruption—when he was fucking innocent—and here comes some asshole just looking to fuck up his life again.
I dunno. Seems like an incredibly fucked up thing to do when it comes to the severity of the crimes. At some point, you turn your back on someone and don’t support them because what they did is beyond the pale. It’s all about context. Being a rapist doesn’t have any context in which I could support you.
