National parks are great opportunity for sharing rides, rail, or bus. I think Yosemite valley should be 100% free from personal vehicles. I’m talking about climbing a mountain and starting at the trailhead at 6am. Mountain biking or paddle boarding or surfing. Going fishing or hunting in a place nobody else goes. Maybe you’ve never experienced real solitude, but ridesharing and transit isn’t going to get those experiences. There is not a future free from personal transportation. Even in a post apocalypse anarchy, people will build off grid solutions to drive electric ATVs and bikes and buggies and whatever else.

Orcas are cool. They work as a team and they’re clever. Great White shark is just a blood-smelling chomp chomp. Orcas grab onto the sharks fins, and start dragging it around. Sometimes they rip the fin off. Sharks need to keep swimming to breathe so they don’t like being dragged around. Then the orcas eat the liver and the heart and go hunt another one.

It seems they’ve adapted their great white strategy to boats. Instead of grabbing a fin they grab the rudder. Makes perfect sense. Maybe they’ll learn to stick old boat parts into the spinning props. The article says they’ve encountered hundreds of boats but most of them get away. If they get more clever about immobilizing them they’ll be quite deadly.

So 63 becomes few-y few few, and 64 is Bit-Y or “bitty”. Don’t need to say the nils after. 65 is Bitty bit. 255 is FewO FewY few few, followed by 256 which is Bitta.

Imagine if LSD was a vibrant color. Obviously not a good choice for food dye. Not just because it’s colorless and odorless but a very small amount changes behavior drastically. There are thousands of psychoactive substances, natural and synthetic.

One of the kids I used to babysit, his mom discovered a link between artificial color and behavior problems about 25 years ago from Go-Gurt. Easy process of elimination from trying other yogurts that it’s not the sugar or the yogurt. Anyway this kids behavior and life was a lot easier without food dyes. If I recall he was the only one of the 4 kids that it was so noticeable.

Solar power is really cheap. If we only needed it for low wattage DC, like lights and electronics, it could be built fairly cheap even with storage. But most home energy use is high wattage AC. That gets expensive pretty quickly, unless you do your own electrical work.
