Or see a physiotherapist instead.
I've heard this called the 'dirty 30'. It works. Whatever needs cleaning up or tidying, 30 minutes is just short enough to not feel like you're using all your free time on chores, but long enough to make a real dent. Especially if your partner either helps with the same task or does a different one. Setting a timer can help and you start to almost frantically see how much you can get done. I like that competitive element even against myself.
Cowardly fuckin Australia
I've used very similar techniques on men in bars who don't think no is a complete sentence.
I'm well past the age for shame. I will make a fool of myself if it means some twerp will think twice about harassing a woman who's repeatedly turned them down
I'd never considered doing the same for scammers - great idea! I'm just overly polite and that makes me seem like a target I think.
Schitts creek.
It was pushed so hard by Netflix when it first came out that I ignored it. Just seemed like an overdone rich fish out of water idea and I just wasn't interested.
I finally got round to it when I think they did another promotional push. After watching it I basically forced every person I know to watch it and it is now a comfort show that I've watched a bazillion times.
But it is just so good.
The part people keep missing with all their "I don't even eat there so I don't care" and "fine, I'll go somewhere else" comments is that every other large chain will be watching this little experiment very, very closely.
People are still going to go to Wendy's. Any boycott is unlikely to make a dent. If this is profitable, watch this become commonplace. I don't even live in the states and this concerns me.
Enshitification may well extend itself to the hospitality sector.
Laser is a thing. I haven't had to worry about bikini lines in about 15 years...
Have you asked the women with the painted eyebrows? They probably like it. Not all things people do with their appearance are to appeal to others.
There's no way of avoiding it. Regular weed smokers think they don't stink of it when they do, so you're not going to get helpful advice from the smoking community. Smoke outside to avoid a lingering smell in your home. But your hair, skin, clothes (and breath if you're slack on oral hygiene like most smokers) will still smell of weed. Stick to edibles if you don't want to smell like a teenager.
I only got to institute this when I started working for myself. It took me a year or two to realise. For all clients or all agencies I sub for I have a strict no meetings before 930am rule. I haven't told anyone why - my calendar is just blocked out so each probably individually thinks I have some recurring appointment with another client. Nup. I'm in bed drinking my coffee. I'm a shit sleeper, if I manage at all. I spent decades working to the early birds' schedule. Fuck that.
But it is a privilege and very few can achieve that working in a company. It's gross to suggest to people they can just do it. I know my situation is niche. To suggest otherwise is arrogant and ignorant.
