MAGAs are rebelling against the notion that they are not a privileged group. They feel like it's the libs (and the 'fakenews') fault that they aren't succeeding.

If those pesky libs didn't try to treat everyone the same (even the blacks and the LGBTs) they would still feel like they are the special important group like they did in the good old days.

They feel attacked at the mere notion they might not be inherently better than disadvantaged groups. Ultimately, they are hiding from the uncomfortable truth that they are just as shitty as everyone else. They're not special. But Trump makes them feel special.

Fair use is a defense you have to make in court. And court is expensive.

There no caveat or exception. Don’t fuck with other people.

But my hand is tired.

Most people have a hard time accepting criticism. They interpret any perceived attack on their beliefs as an attack on them (their ego). Once their on the defensive, you have a tiny chance of convincing them. Instead, they might justify their position and/or simply attack or dismiss your argument at best. But if their not feeling nice, it's more likely they resort to namecalling such as sheep / lib / commie / dumbass etc.

Look up the Oracle cloud free tier. Combine that with an desec.io for DNS service and you are good to go.

There is certainly an element of this being PR for Microsoft. But it is worth considering that a huge amount of computing is done in large data centers.

I think this fact could easily jump-start the use of a technology such as this. If it starts out where every large to mid-sized data center has a reader and writer shared among their thousands of customers it certainly would make it more viable.

I would guess the AI service is MS's way of trying to make sure they control the technology. Hopefully, it eventually can get replaced by a local AI model rather than MS's proprietary AI.

I'm all for removing GOP from power, but it is not either or. You can both remove GOP power and encourage changing how we vote by promoting alternative policies like Ranked Choice Voting.

we 'shouldn’t' try to hide the bad things we’ve done when we teach history

The keyword here is shouldn't. Most people don't do lots of things they should.

Not out of malice but simply laziness, it is a lot easier to just default to the norm and go on. Try comparing what should get done in politics(campaign promises) to what actually gets done in washington. In short what should happen and what actually happens are two different things in a lot of areas.

Don't you just love when your hard earned money goes to subsidize the billion dollar oil companies that are literally destroying our environment. /s

The only issue I've noticed is #3 (tab management). Currently I use the Tab Groups extension to help keep a manageable amount of tabs visible and to help unload idle tabs from ram.
