My Yule boasting! I am going be less judgmental and critical. This weighs on me heavily so it’s definitely a more Herculean task for me than it might be for someone else 😊

Yeah social media is great at sneak advertising, that’s not an accomplishment for the Barbie movie though. If someone enjoyed it, that’s all that matters. Is it the best movie of its kind? Not by a long shot, but that’s neither here nor there.

Pretty much yeah, the uber wealthy constantly distract from the fact that they’re not paying their fair share to society for all the benefits they get from its structure and organization

Mega churches are still going strong though. There definitely needs to be a way (other than taxes because separation of church and state is impt) to get churches to spend that money back in the community, but instead it just ends up enriching the owners and investors. If there was anything which needed an anti-corruption intervention.

Tbf, the cost of college education increased at a rate faster than increase in wages, or increase in availability of salaried positions. Not only that, but housing became unaffordable for many because of corporations buying out cheap housing as investments. There are societal failures here, which is why loan forgiveness is reasonable and not just an individual responsibility issue.
