The only sad thing is how much brain rot people like you have gotten from the internet to believe shit like this exists anywhere in reality. You've built up examples in your head of awful people doing awful things, except all those examples are fake bullshit like this.

I'm reminded of the game Black and White where you have an avatar/pet that you can train to behave in certain ways. You can do positive reinforcement like giving scritches and whatnot when they do something you want, or negative reinforcement which is effectively a "backhanding the shit out of an anthropomorphic pet" simulator. If they are holding something and you rub their belly they will eat what they're holding. To train mine not to eat villagers I would hand them one, rub it's belly, wait for the villager to be eaten, then beat them to a pulp. Usually once was enough but sometimes they'd need a second round
if i may be pedantic for a sec, a lot of people mistake punishment for "negative reinforcement".
"reinforcement" means encouraging and reinforcing desired behaviour. "positive reinforcement" is providing positive stimulus as a reward for good behaviour, like giving a dog a treat for obeying commands. "negative reinforcement" is removing negative stimulus as a reward, like stopping the obnoxious low-health beeping when you heal a pokemon from critical health.
"punishment" is for discouraging undesirable behaviour. "positive punishment" is adding negative stimulus, such as physical abuse; and "negative punishment" is taking something away, like taking away an unruly teen's phone.

If you're going to make up rules, put on an act, then submit everyone else to it, at least try thinking through it for longer than a few seconds. Perhaps that's part of it: adopting a lizard's attention span.
