Unfortunately all the flagships oned have decided one port is enough.

Customers showed them it's enough. I don't blame the companies for it. Supply and demand. Why add features in your devices that only cost you more money to implement when removing it has no effect on the sales.

As for consumer repairs, I wouldnt be surprised if it becomes completely impossible soon

Consumers will be able to choose between repair or replacement of defective products within the two-year legal guarantee period. Companies will have to repair a product for free within that period, if cheaper than a replacement, and continue to offer affordable repairs for five to 10 years after a product's sale even if it is outside of the guarantee.

Manufacturers and distributors will also have to inform consumers of their right to have products repaired and offer spare parts to independent repairers at reasonable prices.

Holes don't exist. It describes a location that lacks the material surrounding it. Kind of like coldness is lack of heat or darkness is lack of light. Cold and dark aren't actual things in the universe.

The idea of living as if my life hadn't really started yet and then one day realizing I'm old and I wasted my life.

My brand-new Samsung phone has a headphone jack.

I see what you’re saying though, and while that may be true now, it hasn’t always been the case. If sales of the first iPhone model without a headphone jack had hit an all-time low and people kept buying the older models instead, Apple likely would have realized the mistake and brought it back. They did this with their shitty laptop keyboards and removing the HDMI port and card reader too. But instead, people just complained and still bought those devices anyway, signaling to manufacturers that it was okay, and then others followed suit and here we are now.

There's always alternatives for people willing to stick to their principles. My device still has a removable battery as well and so did the one I had before.

Browsing social media, it’s apparent that people are quick to point out problems in the world, but what I see less often are suggestions for how to solve them. At best, I see vague ideas that might solve one issue but introduce new ones, which are rarely addressed.

Simply stopping the bad behaviour rarely is a solution in itself. The world is not that simple. Take something like drug addiction. Telling someone to just stop taking drugs is not a solution.

Nobody took away their headphone jacks. It's them who bought devices without one.

Oh, is that so? Well let me introduce you to two common chants we've been hearing lately which you are familiar with.

"From river to the sea"

"God Is the Greatest, Death to America, Death to Israel, A Curse Upon the Jews, Victory to Islam"

This isn't about territory. This is about anti-semitism. It's not Israel that's the problem to these extremists, it's the jews.

A genocide is what would happen. A real genocide.

Rather that, than work in an office, but not exactly that either. I wanted to do something that involves working with my hands, so I became a plumber, but nowdays I've got my own company and do other renovation jobs as well.

Good news to those watching shorts (I guess) and completely irrelevant information to the rest of us.

I'm the same way. The less apps there are on my phone, the better. Also, using the web app is the only way to block ads on certain sites such as Instagram or Twitter.

My childhood dream job was not working in office.

They don’t. Rather, they believe that others do, so posts like this are simply signaling alliance.

It’s the kind of conflict where the answer to the question "who started it?" entirely depends on how far back you begin looking.

I personally can't imagine anyone surviving long-term around running zombies. Even if fighting them was relatively easy, it’s statistically inevitable that sooner or later you'd get bitten. This applies to walking zombies too, but at least with them, you have the option to avoid physical altercations altogether, at least for the most part. That’s what I think most TV shows get wrong about zombies: even if there’s just one, and you could easily take it down, just don’t. It’s almost never worth the risk. In my view, the best way to survive is to avoid them as much as possible. Fighting is the last resort and should only be done in self-defence.

It's water, isn't it? And second one is food. Well what about the third?

Do you have a criteria for what qualifies as block-worthy offence or are you just doing it when you feel like it?

Bonus question: how long is your block list?

7

Is it simply: involuntarily celibate, or does it come with a package?

To me, "incel" has always meant someone who’s simply just celibate against their will, but it feels like the term now also implies a specific worldview or even a subculture. Does identifying as an incel automatically come with those negative beliefs around gender and society, or should those two have separate terms? Has the definition changed?"

There's no freedom in having to do something but you're also not free to choose your wants.

Maybe it's better to just live and let life happen instead of thinking about what could've been. What ever happened is the only thing that could've happened.

I can only imagine the difference it would make if instead of telling about your idea you could show it
