Here we fucking go again. Israel just can't leave the hospitals alone.

Money quote-

The four closures capped two weeks of Israeli strikes on hospitals and healthcare workers in Lebanon that have shuttered at least 37 facilities and killed dozens of medical staff, according to the World Health Organisation.

This is on purpose. You don't hit 37 clinics on accident.

And they're going to claim any service provider paid by Hezbollah is a terrorist too, just like they did with civil Hamas officials.

The strikes on healthcare facilities have not been limited to the south of Lebanon. Israel hit a medical centre in central Beirut on Thursday belonging to the Hezbollah-linked Islamic Health Organisation, killing nine and wounding 14. The Israeli army said the strike targeted "terror assets".

But this is your local combat vet reminding you that it is in fact illegal to hit a hospital, no matter who pays the bills.

They clearly don't care about plausibility anymore.

Same shit, different century. Ever look up the actual history of Christmas or Easter? They were pagan holidays and Christian rulers forced everyone to jam as much Christian stuff into them as they could.

It's literally one of the oldest tricks in the book.

For the average person, data sales aren't the worry. Heck their phone is already recording everything. The worry is straight up criminal enterprise, like keylogging bank passwords. If the VPN company is doing stuff like that then they're going to eat a RICO charge. Most people really don't care that their data gets sold.

That's business logic. Consumer logic is that when things get cheaper they should actually be cheaper.

That's probably like 60 percent of it. They've definitely got internal problems like their sexual assault, suicide, and burn out rates. Also it can be a pretty toxic environment if you aren't a lean runner body type or don't conform to their culture. There's also a gang problem on some bases. So yeah, they have bad things going on even without politicians giving them screwed up orders.

Just some... light treason.

Lmao, we're not worried about the cafe. We're worried about the man in the middle. And yeah with enough tech knowledge you can set up an encrypted tunnel home and use your normal connection from there. But most people aren't that tech savvy

Interestingly it looks like in 3 of 4 charts men have, at worst, returned to mean. It's the women getting more leftist. And I don't blame them.

They're doing way too much work for it to be a scam. Irresponsible, naive, badly managed, sure. It can just be a bad project.

Yeah, the problem is it wasn't sold as a space life game a decade ago. And there's a vast gulf between space life sim and actually having to eat/pee. It was already controversial when he said capital ships wouldn't despawn so you'll have to hide it and keep a 24/7 watch to make sure it isn't stolen. A game isn't supposed to be a job, there's got to be a happy medium there.

Here we go again.

The Biden administration wants to set up a deconfliction line with China in much the same way they set one up with Russia during the Cold War. They're also signaling that future cooperation may come in the financial sector or by refining sanctions by tapping the Treasury Secretary as one of the next US officials to meet with Chinese leaders. The Commerce Secretary may also be about looking for a ways to offset the US bringing chip production home.
