The bank is fighting for their money because as long as you report it in time they are legally required to refund all but a small amount. The refund for the fraudulent charges has nothing to do with the banks ability to get their money back.

Parents these days aren't any different, not really. Having kids is the default life path for most people, so of course a good percentage are gonna suck at it.

That would be relevant if we were talking about copyright law at all.

No, I'm not confused in the slightest. Often the criticizers are also complaining about hearing about him..while making subs and communities around criticizing...therefore they see it all the time. Rage bait and complaining is what these people want

It's just very silly.

So many people complain abiut constantly reading about musk, so then they make posts and communities centered around musk. It's dumb as hell.

I never presented the opinion that FOSS is useless. I'm saying FOSS isn't inherently more secure or private than a commercial or closed source app.

Sometimes FOSS apps are great, often times they are janky...which has been my experience with every FOSS lemmy app I've tried. Sometimes too their overall value compensates for the jank, but not here imo.

I've just noticed that a lot of the privacy focused or obsessed often just roll with what they know or what they read, while still taking big leaps of trust with total strangers and thinking they're perfectly secure and seemingly ignoring that threats even exist in that environment.

Fly attractant on the tire?

It seems like a lot of guesswork based on a small amount of evidence.

Because of being extremrly large and nonflying I don't see why a trex would gain an advantage by being able to a see a mouse from kilometers away like a modern bird if prey. Between that the millions of years of evolution between them, I wonder if their eyes were less developed in some way.
