I know Oren Moverman did an interview here. I did just learn about it, so I'm trying.

Can I say free willy? It really took over my life for a while. I wouldn't say irony is the operative word.

well there was a lot of …the great thing about working with Oren is ...he gives you an incredible playground. And all the tools... great direction, wonderful words to say…and inside of that he says "go play."

Working with oren... he's adaptable…if he finds this is working, he commands you, tells you to keep going, he's always pushing the outer limits.

As for the other roles, well if they don't specifically come up in conversation, I don't give them much thought!

Ok. well, my method during preparation and production is immersion. I try to just immerse myself in the role, and in this case, watching movies, documentaries reading books. just anything that has to do with cops. Particularly LAPD, the history of the LAPD. As well as ride-alongs with cops... just getting into the back-story and the psyche of DAVE BROWN.

So to jump in there is exciting and scary, and also you just feel completely safe and protected…Oren, he just won't let you fail, and me personally, I tried to fail several times.

I mean its inevitable..with the freedom Oren does give you sometimes you're gonna go in the wrong direction and he's gonna steer you back.

very kind thing to say.

You know, I don't really think about those things, once the opportunity passes, I really let go of it.

Expert troll, my friend. But you can't fool me.

Possibly. Im not knowledgeable enough to really know. I was just using Trump's "who knew healthcare was so complicated" quote.

It's everyone elses fault. Got it.
You'll get no sympathy from me by acting like a victim of your own choices.

Who knew immigration could be so complicated!

Pretty good answer, honestly. I hope they don't type like that all the time though.

Carruthers claims, however, that “there is no hidden agenda” and that this is about advocating for parental rights. She claims it is not “anti-LGBTQ” and that “nothing can be done these days without offending others.”

Why even do this in the first place?
It must be nice to live in Ohio since it seems they don't have any other pressing issues to deal with.

My grandpa should be rolling in his recliner. Instead he's got fox news on all day.

Prometheus was definitely a disappointment, so I've put off watching Covenant because everyone always says it's worse than Prometheus. I finally watched it tonight, and I thought it was a hell of a lot better. It's actually a good Alien movie imo.

Spoilers beware:

I enjoyed the synthetic, and I think they did a good job with both of them. I liked most of the crew, especially the lead actress. That relieved smile at the end was too cute. The actual aliens were bad ass too. The fight with the two "kids" was crazy. It's awesome to finally see aliens do crazy animal attacks. Especially loved the 360 tail attacks. The "it respected me" scene was cool too, that's such a great idea. They were relentless with their attacks and they just kept coming back.

I know people harp on what's Dr Shaw being killed between movies, but I think it works fine. Really shows you how evil David's become. I could have done without the obvious twist at the end, but whatever. Movies gotta movie, I guess.

I don't know what I'm missing. Do people dismiss the movie without seeing it or something?

In the beginning of season 3 why is Matt running around in the black suit? He survived the fight at the end of S2. I understand he's hiding out and healing up with the church, but what happened to his DD suit?
